Here is a good essay on damage to the environment done by developers. Written by Jorge Segura at DCL consultants. The essay stems from the recent judgements against developers and public entities by the Costa Rican Environmental Tribunal.

Anyone buying property to develop, or buying from a developer in a pre-construction phase, should be aware of the issues addressed in this article. Have a look.
