Read it and judge for yourself:
**Riverside Property Mismanagement of Funds*
In early October of 2009, I went to Costa Rica, weak from medical treatments(stage 4 cancer of colon & liver) to personally collect over $8000.00 owed to me from my Rental @ Riverside. At that time Joshua ten Brink promised me that everything would be corrected and taken care of and he was sorry for the mix-up.
May 2010 and I arrive in Costa Rica once again, 30 weeks of Chemotherapy & Radiation treatments to find that my deposits from my rental unit, Managed by Riverside Management & Joshua ten Brink had not been deposited into my Bank account in Costa Rica. Even as I was assured they were being deposited every month.
Now it's the first week of June 2010 and I'm still trying to collect over $5000.00 in Rent money from Nov, DEC 2009 & Jan, Feb 2010. In all fairness I did receive a deposit of $500.00 on June the after I left Costa Rica.
I personally confronted Joshua ten Brink 4 times while in Costa Rica & talked on the phone another 3 times. Here are some of his notorious EXCUSES.
1. Sorry, I'm waiting for a large transfer of funds from the West Coast??
2. I have the funds transfer #Number, but the money has not arrived yet??
3. OH!! Accounting said they made a partial deposit into your account today.
YEAH RIGHT?

??
These were all excuses, to hold monies that were legally paid by my tenant and collected by Riverside Property Management, I am sure these sound familiar to some of you. I have saved all the correspondent letters and forwarded them on to my Attorney. He is in the process of reviewing all documents in preparation for legal action against Riverside Property Management and if need be Joshua ten Brink himself. I am not the one for attorneys but when all else fails I have no choice. I sure hope you all can understand my predicament.
A word of fair warning-- if you are doing business with these people, your investment is in DANGER. Sorry to have to break the news about Riverside, but it's only fair to let everyone know what's going on. I have also contracted another Management Company an so far they have been very professional as well as responsive. If anyone would like their name, contact information or have any other questions please feel free call, write or e-mail anytime, I will
respond in a timely fashion.
Just so everyone knows, in all fairness I'm attaching a copy of this e-mail to Riverside Management & Joshua ten Brink. Have a great summer and I look forward to hearing from you soon. OH!! by the way, my cancer is in remission and I'm not going anywhere soon. SORRY JOSHUA
Sincerely
John Brennan
