American Med. Insurance Accepted?

I am retired Coast Guard and utilize Tri Care Prime for my medical insurance. It is an incredible deal by  American standards and I would be able to use it in Costa Rica. Are there American registerd doctors in Costa Rica who can accept American insurance? I know the Costa Rican medical is very inexpensive and most people would just use that but Tri Care is probably comparable to Costa Rican medical cost.

Hospital CIMA is in Guachepelín and is affiliated with Baylor Medical Center.  They accept the Tricare, FMP & CHAMPVA.

These are two first class facilities with care equal to anything you will find in the US for most treatments.

Most doctors here wouldn't be registered in the US, since they practice here.  But a large number are trained in the US or Europe and speak perfect English.
