Has anybody out there been to playa seco between jaco and quepos? I am thinking of investing in a new condo development (Coco Mar) and would like some feed back about the area: i.e. bugs, water troubles, major rip tides?? Gracias!

Sorry, I have never been there.  You have to be careful of some of the projects in that area, so do your research.  I have been as far south as Esterillos and I do like that area.  One thing to note is that this part of the coast faces the open ocean (esterillos and points south.)  So when big storms roll in it can get pretty rough.  Just that you have to be aware of that and make sure the construction is solid, particularly close to the coast.

Also the topography is obviously mountains in the back and plains below.  Any rain will be gathered up by the mountains and dumped below.  So you do have to be aware of flood plains and make sure of your own drainage and your neighbor's.  Also that your construction will be in a part of the property not affected by flooding or built to account for flooding.

Hello deny,
I'm also interested in investing in that area or just north of Jaco. Will be heading there in early June and will report back if I see anything worth looking into. Will appreciate feedback on your searches.

We did NOT get any feedback from Deny and Leshuey, so I guess they didn't' like it much over there. Anybody else has any feedback on this area?
