As a person who is all over the place when it comes to opinions on vacinnating your kids.I would love to know the opinion of someone living in CR on the subject.I have a 4 year old and an 8 and 16 year old.

Can't just leave your question unanswered, but no real expertise here.  Most children born in Costa Rica are vaccinated under the public hospital's programs and the vaccines are within the first 2 years.  There have not been widely reported cases of bad reactions to the vaccines.  Also the elderly and at risk children are normally vaccinated for flu in January and February under the public health system's campaign. 

The vaccinations are not mandatory, so if someone knowledgeable about the subject wanted to avoid vaccinating their children based on their research of the issue that would not be difficult.
