looking for used car

Hey Folks:

I'll be arriving with my girl friend in Jan 2007 and staying around the grecia area for 3 months looking for a short term rental - Jan-March, 2007.  We are looking for a used car to tool around for three months. An older/car 4 wheel is just fine? Any sellers?

In the Tico Times ( http://www.ticotimes.net/classified.htm#1505 ) and in AM Costa Rica ( http://www.amcostarica.com/classifieds.htm ) there are companies that rent used cars at very reasonable rates. 

You could buy a car and sell it and probably save a little money, but I think it might not be worth the trouble.  Here you can see used car prices for costa rica
