Catholicism is the official religion of Costa Rica and practically every neighborhood has a church (and a soccer field the unofficial religion!) . Other faiths have made inroads in recent years, particularly Evangelical Christians of different denominations. Of course most only offer Spanish services.
But, there are many English language congregations throughout Costa Rica, particularly in the Central Valley that have weekly services. In some guide books there are listings of english language churches. The ones that advertise in the Tico Times and that have web sites are:
