Mountain Bike Rental in CR

Hello all:  We are returning to CR in December for our "second date".  My husband is an AVID mountain biker, but does not want to ship his expensive bike by airplane and then schlep it all over the country as we travel to Puerto Viejo, Atenas, Nicoya, and the Ojochal area.  Anyone know any contacts for mountain bike rentals in these area?  Thanks for the info!

That's a tough one, I checked in the Tico Times guide book, but they only have a few companies that offer the whole tour. 

Since you listed Atenas I thought you might try contacting Bi Costa Rica Bike Tours for ideas:
