HOW TO PAY THE FOLLOWING SERVICES:
TELEPHONE, ELECTRICITY, WATER, CABLE & INTERNET
For those new in Costa Rica and some tips for the rest of us:  First:  The Water, Electric Power and Telephone bill can be paid in most supermarkets such as Mas x Menos, Perimercados, Hipermas, etc., Farmacia Fischel  also in the Banco Nacional and Banco de Costa Rica (BCR), as well as in the telephone and power & light companies: ICE /Fuerza y Luz building, located 100 meters of Plaza Colonial, and the water bill at the AyA office located in its new facilities, 100 meters west of the Escazú Park. Also  all private and National Banks in Costa Rica that have a web on line service and if you have an account with them you may pay your utilities for example with Banco de Costa Rica on line you can pay your phone, electric, water, cable (amnet or Cable Tica)  & Racsa.
TELEPHONE Currently, when your telephone bill is past due and the service has been cut-off, to have it reconnected as soon as possible, don't go to the ICE, go to the Banco de Costa Rica.  After you paid, call 115 immediately and tell them you already paid the bill (although they will already know).   I am telling you this because the other day a customer of mine was moving into an apartment I had rented to him and I found out that the telephone line had been cut-off; so I ran to the Banco de Costa Rica and then called 115, a miracle, the line was already working and my customer didn't even notice it.  I would like to remind you that if you have two telephone bills past due, the telephone company can take your telephone number away!!!!!, in other words, you lose it.
How to find out how much you are due  go to https://www.grupoice.com/av-ejb/login.jsp
POWER AND LIGHT  Same as with the telephone, if it is past due you can pay it at the Banco de Costa Rica, only difference is that if you have two receipts past due and they cut-off your electric power service, sirs, go and pay at the Fuerza y Luz offices as soon as possible, so you can have your service reconnected that same day.
How to find out how much you are due  go to http://web.cnfl.go.cr/agencia/consulta.htm
AGUA  Pls remember tha water company is disconecting water service 3 days after the bill is due, to reconet they can taka up to 1 week, so be on time You may pay your bill at any Goverment Banks, Mas x Menos,Perimercados, Super Sarreto, Farmacia Fishel and Automercado  AyA office located in its new facilities, 100 meters west of the Escazú Park.ph 288-4490 and in Santa Ana 282-2431 282-5427.  How to find out how much you owe  go to    http://www.aya.go.cr/htm/recibo.asp
RACSA,  AMNET, CABLE TICA  These bills can be paid in any Fischel Pharmacy, if past due call:

Thanks Daniel,

I pay all of my bills online from my Banco Nacional Account. ( http://www.bncr.fi.cr/ )  They seem to have the most options for paying cable, companies, schools and utilities.

I have also used BAC and BCR to pay.
